I bought them for a big GS1100E from them, they were Chromoly & made for drag racing.I hope to find some for a 72" CB350 twin that I have...the originals are stretched out from over torquing.

You may have to just buy a used top case with studs off e bay and hope they will come out.

You might give American Racing Products a call (800.826.3045) - I don't know if they  have anything, but for another project of mine (Ford Y-Block engine) they had some studs on the shelf that fit and were much cheaper than $350.  You'll have to measure the stud length/diameter/thread pitch etc.

Thanks ohiolarsen,
I don't have the exact dimensions of the cylinder studs at my finger tips just yet, but...I gave that American Co. a call like you suggested & they gave me a positive response about those Cylinder studs;I didn't have much hope that I would find any.
I can now make some exact measurements & give them a call back; they said they have very good quality(chromoloy, etc)types of different hardness studs & they told me that they have provided studs to A.P.E. for their Drag bike kits ! I hear the sound of Victory coming along real soon...it's been a long hunt.
I need to be sure when I look for some for my CB350K twin that I modify the studs to flow the same amount of oil to my top end that the O.E. does...I may need to have a machinist turn down the diameter of the center portions of at least 2 special studs in the rear corners of the cyl./head assembly. I think that this company will work with us Honda sohc4 members who need cyl studs !
The name of the company is: Automotive Racing Products     arp-bolts.com

that sounds awesome

FYI i got my studs removed today and found out a nice little trick. I pb blasted then heated the stud with a heat gun at the base then hit the top of the stud with a heavy ratchet and vibrate the crap out of it, make sure to hit down. As i taped the base too. Hit it hard on top several times while heating the base to send vibrations down the it. When all pb blaster was dry from heat i then sprayed it again at the base with pbr till it would not sizzle. Use the two lock nut and bam they cam out.

still might get some of those studs if they will sell them just in case though :)

T they told me that they have provided studs to A.P.E. for their Drag bike kits !

Not true. We make all of our own studs.  Been doing it for 35 years.

If you have specific sizes, we may have something in stock

Yes, we would make them if Honda has discontinued them. I would need samples. We make the 750m and 500/550 that Honda has discontinued.

I would assume that the 350 and 400 would be the same?

Big Jay,
Can your Co. APE provide a set of studs for my CB350K4 twin? a couple of those studs are custom & tapered down to allow the oil to flow to the upper cam area...maybe I can have you make me up a set.I know that there are lots of CB350 twins doing vintage racing...would APE be interested in marketing more of them to other racers;those O.E. ones are very soft steel & stretch real easily when over torqued.I liked my Chromoly cyl studs that I purchased from APE for my 83' GS1100E.

We can not make just a few sets of anything, IOt would be cost prohibitive. However, we make so many studs for so many bikes, that we have a lot of different sizes on the shelf.

If we know sizes, we can see what we have available.
