Sorry Jim,
I abandoned SC a couple months ago. I moved back to Boston from Florence in January. There was someone I met a couple years ago, lived out off Rte. 20 between Columbia and The GA line. Had a nice 550. Amongst other stuff. Royce was his name but I have no way to get in touch with him. There's a number of guys on the Honda Chopper site from SC, might want to drop them a note and have them come over and check out the new site, here.
Good luck,
Chris

Jim,
Sounds great!  Maybe we can put something together, I'm definitely interested.
Hopefully SC has more than two or three SOHC riders.

I'm back from Iraq!  Great to be home with the wife, kids, dogs and of course the scoot.  Great thing the internet...when I got home had lots of bike goodies waiting.  If you want to have a ride in the mountains let me
know, got a friend in Rutherfordton who'd probably like to come along.  I'll also be glad to help get this going.

Thanks Ya'll!!!   I appreciate the comments but I can't claim any military affiliation.  The mil guys have my utmost respect though.  Tough job in a hostile and harsh environment.  Keep them in your prayers.  I was a temporary State Dept. guy working in the embassy, quite an experience to say the least.  It was an honor to be able to go and serve our country.

Want to shoot for a date for a ride somewhere in the upstate?  Don't mind sticking the bike in the truck and zipping up I-26 for a good ride and a chance to meet some fellow SOHC'ers.

Thanks Jim, great to hear from you.  I'll be up in the hills around Bryson City for a week with the family starting
Memorial Day.  Bringing the bike along and planning to do a little riding in the area.   Look forward to linking up
this summer for a ride in the hills and maybe a little BBQ thrown in for good measure.

Barrett, Don't forget to wear a helmet when you get to NC  :D   FYI For some reason, the Burger King on the right side going North, just before you leave Travelers Rest has the best french fries in the Southeast.
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

New member to SOHC today.  Live in the Triad in NC.  In the process of restoring a 75 CB550K1.  Just down to the last few items to get this road worthy and pass an inspection.

Here's another one from the southeast, well.... florida, anyway. I live about 1 hour south of Daytona. One of the few who have to go north for Bikeweek! In fact, I have to go north to reach the deep south, (Ithink half of the northeast live down here).

Checking in from Atlanta, GA, riding a 1972 CB750K2. Would love to ride out for a BBQ or possibly even a day on the Dragon?!?
