Source for black plastic wire sleeving?

Ok, I purchased the black plastic sleeving from Vintage Connections, but the diameter of the plastic sleeving they offer isn't quite working for me.  They have a 7mm and an 11mm ID tubing.  What I need is right in the middle at around 9mm... which they don't sell.

The 11mm is "baggy" and the 7mm is just a hair too tight.  Anyone else offer black plastic wire sleeving?

Can't you use black shrink tubing instead?

How "baggy" was the 11mm? I seem to recall the stock material is somewhat generous in diameter, but truthfully, I never measured it.

Perhaps.  Any idea of how abrasion resistant shrink tubing is?  It'll be running through the handle bars.

It was way big.  I'm replacing the original cracked plastic tubing around the wires from the right hand controls (that go through the handle bar).  When held up beside the old tubing that I had cut off, the 11mm was a good bit larger in diameter.  Maybe the original tubing had shrunk a tad over the last 35+ years, but still, I think something smaller than 11mm is called for.

Maybe shrink tubing is the answer.

3M shrink tubing is strong, resistant, flexible, you can also put one over another for more strength.  Choice of color too, I suppose flat black will be the one to chose.  I also saw other brand of shrink tubing in glossy black, but less flexible:  glossy black would be closer to the color of original Honda tubing.

Bump -

Any of you restoration guys found any black  9mm sleeve yet ?   The stuff from vintage connections would be PERFECT if it were 9mm.

Surely somebody out there has found a source.

I use computer wiring sleaves that you can get at most computer shops I think the color choices are red and black you can also get chines finger type wiring jacket which I like to use on the points wires of my bikes
