Indeed, the Sachs S1000RR front forks are a common upgrade for the RNineT -- for those who don't want to spring for the Ohlins replacements!
Ya, I looked at those for a hot minute until I saw the $2,500 price tag! Don't get me wrong, I've spent some quality money on this bike but that was just a little to much right now. Found these for a much more respectable number.

The Sach adjustable forks are quality units.  If you try them out and feel like you need "something more," you can always opt for the Ohlins cartridge kits, which will essentially convert the internals of the forks to the Ohlins units.

I thought I was pretty meticulous with my first-timer engine refurbishing job, but WHOA.

I love the color scheme you've got going here, too, especially the color on the tank.

All in all, very nice work

Geez guys. You sure do know how to make a girl blush.

Few little updates. Getting the front back together and getting the wiring back to where I had it. I was able to get about 80% of the 12v wiring back together and rough test some of the new pieces. Needed to get a few more little odds and ends before I button the electrical up though so those are in the mail.

I also repainted my bucket to match the frame a little better and found I nice sized grommet to fit the hole decently so the loom is protected a little better.

And still working out the heights and positions of everything. I will tighten everything down once the bike is back on the ground.

That motoscope is nice! I opted for the Chronoclassic for a more vintage look and because I tend to ride more in daylight (since LEDs can sometimes be harder to read with sunlight glare), but this looks really clean.

No. Dave Hargreaves at Cerberus in San Diego. The bike is called the Devil #$%*.  http://www.inazumacafe.com/2013/04/daves-devil-#$%*.html

The bike is supposed to make approximately 100 hp.

Correction.  Dyno read 98 hp at the wheel.  That sounds like a LOT, but the owner has some skills (he was part of the 1st iteration of Confederate Motorcycles when they built the Hellcat and Wraith.

That looks like a Magura, but they are intended for modern motocross clutches so I'm not sure how they would hold up on a larger vintage street bike?

No, I don't.  The guy who built it built Hellcats and Wraiths for Confederate.  It's not nearly as sophisticated a solution as Goddfery's but he says it's reliable.  He's running a 1000cc Russ Collins motor.

Zeffcat, I could make you a slave kit for the 750.  Making and installing an adapter plate for those are not as complex as the 550's are.
If your on a tight budget, I could design it to use a stock slave cylinder from another model Honda.  They are not nearly as sexy or warranted for life like the Oberon but can be had pretty cheep.

Do you have any more info on the parts required for this? I'm interested for my K8 750. Thanks!

Got an estimate of what cost I'd be looking at?

Jeff's hydraulic clutch unit is the business.  I will have to find some kidneys to sell!

Motoscope looks great.  What’s your plan for the speed sensor?

I’ve got something in mind. Having a part made at the moment and will have an update as soon as it’s back.
