Well i had a nice lil surprise earlier today...I was chillin at the comp watching old episodes of Sons Of Anarchy and someone knocks on my door. Turns out it was my buddy wondering if i knew about the window being smashed out on my car. Get out there thinking oh great..what has been stolen...turns out they didnt steal anything. Instead they unloaded a fire extinguisher into the interior coating everything in sight with the yellowish dust thats left over. So the interior is probably ruined same with some of my riding gear (Helmet, Gloves). Def not in the greatest of moods right now  >:( >:(

Some pics of the damage....not sure what im gonna do about it just yet...

Thats focked up.  I hope they catch whoever did that.  Some people just don't have any respect for anything or anybody these days.

Is that a gto?  Man that sucks!!!  Hopefully insurance covers it!  I don't see it being ruined, just a #$%* to clean up!

that really really sucks,

i think it might clean up though.. start with a shop vac and just keep at it (when your in a better mood.. maybe get some beer)

I'm amazed how well the leaf blower works on the fine dust that comes into the garage with the chunks of ice and snow. Open all the doors and windows , of course.

       Aww Chris, sure hate to see that someone is messing with you like that. Pretty much says something about "Cowardness"! Got NO TIME for those who disrespect others like that! Hope that it DOES cleanup well. Hope they get what's coming to them!

After some discussion with the insurance agent i found out i would have to pay a $700 deductable to claim it and file a police report of course...but given my past with the cops not doing anything to help when i have reported in the past, I decided its not worth the wasted trip nor the hit to my insurance, even the insurance agent agreed that it would be easier and cheaper just to rebuild the damage on my own time and money and save the claim for something worth it.

i think with a good asbestos vacuum you could make quick work of the stuff... should be able to rent one.

Well i have started clean up in a way, I did some testing on the helmet that was in the back seat and it cleaned up alright so theres some hope yet!

I hate to bear bad news but that yellow extinguisher dust is very caustic to electronic components. If you have a good radio/CD in the car it would be worthwhile to take it out of the car and open it up and clean it carefully to get all the dust out of it. I don't know what to tell you about the car's electronics that it might have worked its way into...HOPEFULLY it hasn't.
That stuff is nasty in many ways...
