New ideas for a group ride.
« on: April 05, 2006, 07:22:48 AM »
I was just reading on another list about group rides and was wondering about new and interesting concepts to plan them around.  You know, poker runs, scavenger hunts, charity runs...  Anyone have a great new idea, or have been on a really great one?

beaver hunt?  ;)  well, that describes every time we hop on, doesn't it?  sorry, family show.   :-[

anyway, hello.  how about an environment or open-space angle?  especially here in the northeast, the concept of riding from one pocket of nature to another, dodging developments, sprawl, etc.  "green corridor" type stuff.  Burning at least less gas than cages or suv's would...

i didn't remember you were from down that way.  there's a vintage bike auction up in chadds ford soon, if you want to venture that far this way....

Instead of a beaver hunt we can call it a pelt run, anyone? anyone?
