I've had this bike sitting in the basement for about 5 years now and it's time to get it going. I rode it around a little when I bought it....then the throttle cable broke and it sat for a year or so. Then I got the great idea to start srtipping it down to make a bobber out of it. The wiriing was already a mess (wires haning out, no battery..PO was jumping it off, and a toggle switch insted of a keyed ignition.
A few night ago I started tinkering with it again. None of the electronics on the handle bars are opperational.
I want to cut the stock harness down to the minimum that I need for it to run. I put the wiring diagram in paint and started erasing wires that I didn't need. i got kinda lost in the shared grounds and the looped through ignition wires.
Does anyone have any helpful advise for rewiring this bike. I just need headlight, taillight, horn, ignition, and a charging system.
