Wish I could find the pic..not mine, but back when the 750 first came out, there was a pic in Cycle World?  a guy got pulled over in LA (I think) for towing his 20 foot cabin cruiser behind his 750...Weirdest thing I ever carried was a 16lb sledgehammer, had to sit on it....

Not on a 750, but, I towed a Rover SD1 about 4 miles with a Kawasaki 1000 sidecar outfit.
Couldn't hold a straight line going uphill, it crabbed real bad  ;D

Back in 1971 I rode my then new 750 K-1 from Miami to DC to see some old friends.  While in DC I bought a disassembled 4-speed transmission (Muncie close box for a Corvette I owned back then) which I strapped on the back of the bike and hauled back to Miami.  Unfortunately by the time I got there the main-shaft was missing.

In 2003 I built my own computer. The only for of transportation at the time was my 1978 CB400A. The only part that wouldn't fit in my backpack was the case. So, the clerks founds some duct tape for me, and we taped it to my backpack, and I rode it home. Would have been a funny thing to see, but I have no pictures, unfortunately.

I carried an empty 16 gallon keg back to the liquor store on my XS650's luggage rack.  I wasn't foolish enough to try it with a full keg. ;D

My buddy can carry a case of beer on the passenger seat of his ST1300. Without any tie-downs.

I am pleased to submit this for your humble approval

On a serious note: In 1974 I brought home six 2x6 x 4' boards  strapped to the seat & rear turn signals of my 500/4 second photo...

I once towed my engine-less 37 Chevy coupe up a shallow incline about 50 Ft with my 74 Cb550.

Clutch slipped for a week after that. ::)

I remember Cycle magazine wrote about someone hauling a surfboard on his bike on a windy day! Had held it between his leg and the bike.

More like Dave500 than towing with a bike, when the engine blew on my '47 Cushman (15 at the time) we towed it about 10 miles with a car and a 12' rope.

About that same time, a big fellow frequently towed a 10' fishing boat on a small trailer (both home-made) behind his ol' Harley.

I carry my golf clubs quite frequently, nothing like getting off in full golf attire.

Your helmet might be handy on the course - depending upon who is playing nearby.

My first job in the bike business was in '85.  Kawasaki was running an ad campaign showing a GPZ(forget the size) towing a jet ski.

on the same not as Markcb750 pic the other day i spoted a hard core biker looking guy ridding a cheap scooter trike. He had it maxed out at about 45, just an odd site.

biggest thing ive hauled it on my uncles chines honda dual sport knock off tyed a couple large bags of ice on the seat and few gallons of milk in a backpack to carry back to the cabin.  I was 17 at the time with my permit, he wouldnt let me drive his f250 so he made me carry it all on the bike.

I once hauled a 5' long piece of 3" channel iron, and a 5' long piece of 1/8"x3" flat bar bungee-d to the left side of my bike; right turns were no problem, but left turns were a bit scary.
My buddy once towed a Ford Ranchero, in the soft sand, with his CT70. Poor little bike; it was one that convinced us both how strong Hondas were, and are!

ct70s are indestructible,we tried for years to kill one, nothing ever broke, just dont drown it in a creek crossing,we call them a "DAX" here.
