Mink oil rubbed in while my sweetie wears whatever im treating. Leather coats, chaps, boots. She wears em, i rubbem. Man i love doin the fronts of my jackets.  ;D

It seems to me that method would use something other than mink oil. :o :o

i use Montana pitch blend oil.  this stuff made my jacket SUPER smooth and really flexible!!  i've also used it on my old redwing shoes that normally get redwing mink oil rubs.  it worked very well at bringing them back somewhat!  they were quite dry to start with!  the standard bottle they sell should last you quite awhile and can be used on practically any type of leather!!

Fiebings Leather Balm restores some of the waxes and oils in the hide.
