I'd like to just move the tail forward a little bit and fabricate some sort of seat - but nothing too involved - other wise I could fabricate a new back end with a seat pan, right? (or purchase one…)

The gas tank and tail lines match - I like the look with out the large (and in my case messed up) seat in the middle. It seems to me the bike was cafe inspired a little bit back there in the mid 70's…and I like the idea of reusing the OG parts as much as possible.

Has any one does this with an F?  - is there an easy way. I am also trying not to spend any money on cosmetics until I get all the performance / engine stuff sorted out.

I have been thinking about this mod for my seat.  Haven't come up with any solutions yet.  you?

my seat pan is getting upholstered now so i dont have any pics yet but what i did was cut out the middle 5 inches or so and weld the end of the pan to the front. i am reusing the original rear cowl also. but without pics this doent do you anygood. ill post a pic when its done at the end of the week.

Do you have any pulled back shots including more of the bike?  It looks good, but just wondering how it flows with the whole bike.
