What is this bike?
« on: March 30, 2011, 05:02:28 PM »
A friend of mine was looking at this bike in a clients backyard. He was offered to purchase the bike but wasn't sure about what exactly it is. He said he thought it was a 78 CB with a single carb. That's all the info I got.

A twinstar.   Made around 79 or so 175 or 250.  Pre rebel days.
Yes search for honda twinstar and it comes up.    185 or 200  79/82

Sorry Apex,,, couldn't help myself! I hope you can take a little kidding around... ;D

If you have the VIN, you might be able to get a real good idea what it is. Do you have it? If you don't mind posting it here, someone who knows about VINs might help.

I walked into that one.

The reason I asked was my buddy was trying to not climb all over one of our clients things. We run a landscaping business and its not too professional to pine over someones things. It's hard to do when you see a cool old bike though.
