It's easier to count the white states now (14). That makes 36 states and DC PLUS Canada is just across the border.

Hey boy and girls Wow what a great two days with the GZ !!! Met up with RickRR at the Casino where the Godzilla gambled away all my coin and said l was bad luck! RickRR and his lady friend followed GZ and l to Ottawa with stops at the Canadian National Art Gallery, where GZ took on the massive Lord of the Rings Spider.
We then ventured onward passing the US Embassy where GZ gave a mighty ROAR! On up to parliment hill GZ complaining all the way that he needed a Tim Hortons!!! Double double ...was pissed when he heard Roll up the Rim to Win was over...n the HILL pics were taken and GZ asked if we could stop at the War Memorial to HONOUR our fallen soldiers. How could we refuse... Rickerr and partner left to see friends on the Gatineau QC side while GZ says he heard the Bluesfest was goin' on and wanted to check it out Blue Rodeo... Not impressed when l told him we were too early, however reluctantly took a pic with the banner.. Stopped for a few pics wth our local CHEZ 106 classic rock radio station girls; hell he even got me a t shirt ... Smooth talker.... Headed to check out local bike shops...SHOUT OUTS to GEARHEAD and KANATA HONDA. Continued on home when GZ says he wants a pic with my brand new Granddaughter...where he finds Makayla so dang cute he tries to bite her toe!!! On homewards to driink ALL my Great Canadian Steamwhistle Beer, smoke the last of my Cuban Cohiba's and chase the Raccoons outta my backyard! Whata night, Godzilla! party animal!! Said it was all you good ole SOHC 4 boys south a the 49th that showed him how to enjoy the "local" culture, which he says is a huge part of this amazing, crazy, over the top, outta this world, fantastic journey... Tomorrows adventures ...tbc...

GZ's been with me and Brooze72 all week here in sunny, baking-hot Toronto. (Today was the hottest day on record in Toronto, EVER.)

Lots of photos coming soon...maybe later tonight.

While here in Toronto, GZ checked out our fine educational establishments (U of Toronto), our free national healthcare, Queen's Park (seat of government), the CN Tower and the Skydome (Rogers Center), where the Blue Jays were playing a game just for him. He then got to drink beer from the tap at a great little wings place across from the stadium.

Tomorrow's the ride to Niagara Falls...and then on to Windsor/Detroit. Really looking forward to it. Off to pack for the next leg!

Will you be coming to Detroit with Tripps? Others? If yes, are you riding all the way to Kalamazoo and will you need accommodations? I think Tripps is going to stay on the East side of Michigan.

Met up with OldSchool, Mrs. OldSchool, and Godzilla at Louies Bar and Grill. Godzilla grew horns? Godzilla then accompanied me to my shop to work on rigging up some tail lights on the hard bags I'm using for the relay. Godzilla is a muther with the soldering iron.

Looking at the PDF, it looks like I'd be riding from southern Minnesota to Omaha.
Iowa, are you out there? I'm coming from Austin, MN, (55912).

old scrambler picked up GZ in Iron Mt. MI from the guys about 2 hours ago. He will head straight south to Green Bay. I warned him about the storms moving toward him and Green Bay which is where he is headed. Should arrive there around 5PM depending on how heavy the rain is. We have severe thunderstorm warnings now and Dennis said he would pull off if it got bad. They were saying 65 MPH winds. I got as far north as Kaukauna and turned back as the black skies got worse. I think if he waits it out in Green Bay the storms will head over the lake and he should have a dry ride to his home near Sheboygan for the night. Ride safe Dennis!!!
