He's hanging out with a new friend in Minneapolis Tuesday night  and will be spending the next few nights carousing the Twin Cities.  He came up along the Mississippi River in company of Accolay an me after the hand off in Pepin WI from db22 and ZanVooden.

Updated maps and schedule on post #1!  WOW! 3 states this week!!
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Yea, 15k miles!  And most of those miles are Google Maps estimates, which are likely to be less then the actual miles between points. We're prolly closet to 17k.

It also doesn't count all the miles riders put on getting to and from handoff locations/meetups and then back home again. I would venture to say in total, riders have covered close to twice that in mileage!!

I know I put in more get to pick up and going home. So the estimate on double is probably quite accurate.
I just wish I had more time with godzilla.
I would like to know where he is headed next when he makes alaska.

As was discussed for New Zealand, if a long distance rider is not available, FedEx the banner and GZ to someone in Alaska for a ride and photo shoot, then FedEx again to Hawaii.  Can't see such an outstanding endeavor miss two beautiful states.

Hi, Everyone,
Yes, I'm MIA for quite some time. Work has thrown me with unforeseen issues since May and still no light at end of tunnel. Not to bore you with that. Point is, if it helps, I'd be happy to pay the FedEx, UPS, USPS Flat Rate, to get the gear to Alaska and from there to Hawaii if that helps. Would hate to see a few bucks get in the way of a perfect 50 plus all that's been covered with our Canadian members.
I do check in from time to time and as always, best wishes on this outstanding undertaking.

Maybe an admin with better search privileges can check the New Member section for Alaska and Hawaii members, check which are still active from the profile, and drum up some riders from those states.  As for the cost of FedEx I would contribute a dollar via paypal.  I imagine a lot of other guys who didn't get to do the relay would do the same.

Wow, that'd be special. PLEASE join the 2,000+ mile club  ;)  ;D We just have to get Godzilla to NZ & OZ in time for them to complete their ride in time so they can move him to Europe for the riding seasons there. You could always ride up then take the ferry back or vice versa! I've wanted to do that myself. Isn't the ferry a 3 day ordeal with camping allowed or rooms available? Seaweb may need to get away and go with you  ;)

Hey NZ and OZ, how much time do you guys need?

WAIT !!!  What happened to ASIA....I think by now that  maybe GZ would like to get a new change of underwear and check his mail and stuff ;D   I can't believe that we would pass over Japan, Phillipines, Korea, etc.  They should be right after NZ and the Aussies  prior to doing Europe.

I have updated the maps, but I don't have info on where he's been spending his nights since Winnipeg.  Does anyone have a list of which night he spent in which city?  If you have actual miles between, that would be AWESOME!

GZ has been on the move.  The official hand-off to the Pacific Northwest team happened on Aug 30. GZ spent the night of the 30th at my parents farm near Maidstone, Saskatchewan.  Terrorized a giant turtle en route (pics to follow). 97 miles for GZ with me that day. From the log book, looks like Killer Canary carried him for 420 miles from the hand-off from the hard-tail from Winnipeg to me.  He spent last night at my place in Calgary, AB. A bit chilly for his liking.  Not much warmer than 52 F the whole trip, then even colder and rainy, then absolute hell for the last 30 miles.  My thermometer read 42 F but 36 with the windchill.  He got to meet some long lost cousins on the way though.  GZ travelled 393 miles to get to Calgary.

Planning to tour him around Calgary for some sightseeing today, maybe hit a patio then hopefully hit a local bike night tonight with DarcyCb400F.

63 miles for GZ today.  Will be spending time in Calgary until he heads off to Montana to meet ofreen on either the 6th or 7th. Hopefully he doesn't empty my liquor cabinet in that time!

I think we can do NZ in a couple of weeks(week ends), would be great to know ETA for GZ to our shores as I have some added on riders who can do some miles for us too and they need some heads-up Jerry.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!
