I'm never satisfied!!  ;D ;D
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

OK, the actual GZ miles from Kingman to Rosamond on 4-26 were 368, not 288. Are ya happy yet?? ;)

Well, the miles added to the SLO to Walnut Creek leg came from  the side-trip to Santa Cruz and Skyline and Alice's Restaurant. Still think I'm cooking the books? Drill through the ride reports like I have for the last day.... ;)
BTW, for those that don't know, the Santa Cruz- Alice's Restaurant portion was TwoTired's part of the relay...

The 288 estimate of the mileage from Kingman to Rosamond assumed taking I-40 to Barstow. Since Godzilla hates the interstates, we took the long way.. ;D

This is a great example of actual miles versus milage stated on a map fom A to B.........Sean went further than what map quest gave him credit for. I'm thinkin' maybe some others did the same thing.
All in all.................I think it's safe to assume that the rally covered 20K........Unless someone wants to get precise (anal!!!) with the statistics!!!!! ;D

The comment wasn't directed to you, actually.  It was more generally toward Oldschool's drive to inflate/increase what was previously recorded.
But, there no need for anyone to take offense.  I'm just funnin.   ;D ;D    I LIKE accuracy...Really!

It depends on which numbers you are looking at. For miles, the BLUE numbers are guesses based on what Google Maps reported and are prolly on the low side. The GREEN numbers are actual Zilla miles as reported by riders/coordinators. I'd love it if we could update all the blues, but that's just too anal! Not that color coding isn't anal already! :D

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

583 miles with Scunny (land and sea)
 30 miles with onagd
105 miles with Hush
