Topic: web based language translator from Google

Hi everyone, thought this might come in handy for those members who don't speak English as a first language, its a tool to translate a large number of languages, if say a German speaker who's English was a bit patchy wanted to post on this forum, they can write the article in German, have it translated into English, cut and paste the translated version into this forum and we should have a pretty good article that we can all read and makes more sense.
They could also use it to cut and paste articles from the forum into the translator so they can greater understand, enjoy and contribute in return.
what do you all think ?

I've used it from time-to-time and it does a credible job. It would be even better if there was some way to imbed the function within a web site so it was just a 'highlight the text' and click the language of choice from a dropdown list.

At first I thought the Ta-da was an acknowledgment/agreement with my laziness. 

Interesting that they don't have it for Chrome.  They'll probably never support IE.
