Topic: CB550 not coming back to normal idle after revving

I've noticed that sometimes when I rev the engine it doesn't want to come back to a normal idle speed.  Sometimes after I open the throttle it stays revving at 3500 rpm and won't come down until I adjust the idle screw very slightly (either way) and then it idles fine at about 1100 rpm.  What's my best bet for fixing this?

Sounds lean. Check your plugs. What do they look like?
