Topic: How many engines do you own? Count 'em, you might be suprised

How many gasoline/diesel engines do you own?  I bet if you count them all up you'll be suprised how many you have.  When I counted ours up it came to fifteen eighteen of the things.

Surprised?  No, not really.  Seems to me I've counted recently, maybe even in this forum.

Here's where the real problem is.  This next list is just motors.  Separated from whatever they came with.

3.5hp Briggs & Stratton w/ electric start
2.2hp Honda horizontal shaft motor from a water pump
6 hp Honda lawnmower motor(needs some governor part)
McCulloch weed wacker motor
2 unknown hp Briggs & Stratton horizontal shaft motors(I haven't looked at them too much yet. New to me)
11hp Honda rider lawn mower- actually still attached.  Cutting deck is shot, tranny needs oil seals.  Hoping to make it to haul a trailer around the yard.

And someone is supposed to be giving me an old powered reel self propelled lawnmower(probably a Briggs, horizontal shaft motor).

Found an old Cox engine, I would assume, in the leaves and stuff in the trailer behind the house from pre-teen model airplanes days. Does that count?

What about the electric chainsaw? Does that plus the two stroke make two engines in the chainsaw category?

See how that first thing I listed has a number 1 behind it, and then see how that second thing has a number 2 behind it?  Well, when you get down to the 6th thing, one of the Harleys, it has the number 6 behind it.  We call that "sequential".  It kind of like a trend, if you follow it to the end you can figure out how many things there are in total.  Work on it, you'll get it.
