Topic: Bike misfires sometimes... Tach stopped working....

Recently bought a CB750, was driving to work this morning and the bike started "misfiring".  At the same time, the tach died.  I was able to drive it a little, and then it was running fine?

This also happened again driving home from work, I had to drive with the choke on for a good 10 minutes.  If I tried to turn the choke off, the bike would die.  Any idea's suggestions?

Also, is there a search button for the forums, would probably be greatly useful instead of starting a new topic everytime.  Thanks.

if youve only just bought this bike,have a good look at the ignition,make sure the points and timing are set correctly.
