DISCLAIMER
Please do not yell at me about whether or not you think
vintage helmets are safe or not.
I know that they arent and am not recommending that anyone
wear them.

Ok, well, I love the look of vintage helmets, and am a wanna-be lowbrow art collector. So, I decided to combine the two. This one was a circa 1971 Bombardier/Ski-Doo helmet. The black/white decals were missing, so it was just a scratched up and boring yellow lid. I sent it to the very talented artist Jefe Suarez in Fla, and this is what happened. Right now, a friend is relining it for me. Once I have it back Ill post pics of the really cool liner as well. Hope ya dig it.

Reminds me of the art on superjail. Which is one of my new favorite shows. I dont think its supposed to make any sense.

Yeah, Superjail is one of my current favorites too.

It has a good sense of the ultraviolence kids need in their TV shows these days.

Thanks guys. Pretty stoked about it. I have another helmet thats going to be headed to another artist here shortly. Very different style, but I think you'll dig this one as well. Eventually Id like to get about 10 different helmets made to display at the bar I like to pretend Ill ever have the money to open.  :p   Also, SUPERJAIL is pure badassery. Hands down one of the greatest animated shows ever.
