Near north Chicago suburbs
« on: March 12, 2011, 08:19:13 PM »
Just picked up my '77 today after buying it last week. A totally original survivor with only 7k miles that has spent the last 30 years in a climate controlled garage. I'm pretty sure that it has the original tires on it. Tomorrow I pull the tank and carbs to clean out the accumulated gunk. My plan is to have it back on the road by the end of April and ready to join the Illinois-Indiana-Ohio portion of the relay.

Hi from NC.  Very nice find!  Make sure you post pics along the way of the restore (and the relay too)!

climate controlled...very lucky find. Hello from nearby Chicago, and good luck with the gunk.
