HD 13/16 Petcock vs CB400F 20mm Petcock?

I've read that 13/16 and 20mm are virtually the same thing, but would the threading be similar?

If so, we've got another option for the 20mm petcock on the CB400F and some 750s.

20mm is around .780..ish of an inch.

 13/16 is .8125

So although the diameter would be close, the threading would not?

Someone suggested rethreading the 20mm bung to a 13/16.
