Hey everyone. So I had a bit of bad luck just now. I took apart my spare set of cb750 K1 gauges and as I was very carefully taking off the Tach needle just like I have done many times before, the stupid thing decided to break off the needle drive with it. Bugger!!!!
Question . . . I have some later model spare gauges and such lying around, what years of gauges will the whole tach drive assembly bolt right into for my 1971 K1 tach?
I know the early 69's had a different angle drive or something like that but I'm not sure of any differences between the other years. I'm thinking I can just grab the tach drive out of a spare tach and throw it in.
Ideas?
