New From Florida
« on: April 06, 2011, 06:39:41 AM »
Just wanted to say hello from the SunShine State.... I have several brands of bikes and I do restorations for my own collection. I am a member of Antique Motorcycle Club of America, Iron Butt Association, BMW MOA, and several other motorcycle related clubs.

The CB 350 Four has 2500 original miles. A few weeks ago in the AMCA show she scored 991/4 points out of 100 I am proud of her...

Welcome,  that is one very fine looking 350 and congratulations on the score.  Noticed the Iron Butt membership, how many have you ridden?  Me never, but I worked at Montgomeryville Cycle Center when the first one went off back in the early 80's.  It was a memorable experience to watch the riders leave and return 8).  My recollection is a large percentage returned, Montgomeryville sponsored Nick Phillips, a mechanic at the shop,  on a Kawasaki Concours...Larry

Iron Butt rides can be from (smallest to qualify) 1000 miles in 24 hours, the 50cc Coast to Coast (Jax. Fl to San Diego) in 50 hours, the 100cc reverse the trip in 100 total hours, and various other rides including the national run usually 10,000 miles in 10 days. It's all about what you and your machine can handle. Believe it or not alot of riders do finish because of the prep. work they do before attempting the rides.

Thank you for the welcome....

Welcome. I sold a 350f a year and half ago to someone in Jacksonville. It was a red 73. Im in Bluffton just north of Savannah. Not to far.
That bike looks awesome. Any other Hondas?

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

I'd like to add my welcome as well. Gorgeous looking 350 there. I always thought they were among the best looking of the 4's, sadly I would not fit one very well, or would it be the other way around?  :-\
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Yes I have and have had several different Hondas over the years. My first cross country trip was on a 72 CB500 four. I also own a CX500, a Pacific Coast, and a NC-50 express II. You can see more at the link listed below to my web site.

Also here's a pic of my 65 Dream....
