Did that lester rear wheel really just sell for $600?!

Was bidding on an 18" lester rear wheel...that went over 600 in the last 30 seconds! So instead I bought one using buy it now...for much less and with the sprocket and brake assemblies included...did the people bidding not see that other auction?!

More importantly when did these wheels become worth so much?!

It used to be a PAIR of lester mag wheels would run around 600-700 dollars...or heck you could buy a parts CB750 with invader or lester mags for that much too sometimes lol.

Yeah I know this specific one that i'm referring to was an 18" rear wheel which is supposedly rare...but there were two of them on ebay at the same time...

I just don't get it.

Lol...it wasn't a TON cheaper, but it was by a couple hundred bucks lets say. So enough to buy a real nice brand new tire for it, new bearings, and for the supplies i'll need to make it look brandy spanking new...

Still more than I wanted to pay, but well...gotta get the bike on the road this summer I hope heh.

At least I know if I have to resell it maybe some bozo will buy it for 620 or whatever that one really went for.
