Which seat hinge will work?
« on: April 11, 2011, 05:35:13 AM »
I need a seat hinge for my 75 CB550F and I'm wondering what other years/models can I snag one from?

According to the parts fiche cross-reference, the hinge bracket fits these models.  It also shows that it's still available from Honda for $9.04.

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

thanks! but the shipping is $20.07. That's silly.

Anyone have one?

Good point.

Guess I'm a little spoiled as my local Honda dealer has an internet ordering site (with internet pricing) and offers a no-charge customer pick-up shipping option.  I have to pay state sales tax, but that's almost always less than shipping.

Maybe your local dealer has the same deal??
