5/1 Sun - Depart Denver ~ noon for Grand Junction ~250 miles with overnight at
CB650's favorite Motel 6 GJ Steve's
Rxman - CB650 - Apex -
Paul 5/2 Mon - Handoff in Spanish Fork, UT ~ 233 miles around noon then head east on US40 with an overnight stop along the way.
Vernal, UT or G.J. perhaps? ~160 miles Dinosaur, CO ~180 miles. Ofreen reluctantly parts with Godzilla to Rxman, CB650 aka Terry, Apex_Seeking aka Craig, GJ Steve,
Paul 5/3 Tues - The crew arrives in the greater Denver area ~320 miles. GJ Steve has already headed back to GJ
5/4 Wed to 5/7 Sat - Godzilla cruises the Rockies with the rest of Team Central Rockies. Sure hope you guys come up with some good stuff while CB650 and I are back to work! TheOFam picks up Big G in the Springs and cruises garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak before heading back to Denver. The next day the 2 of them head off to visit Hondaman and Brett Biker for some fun times and a little riding. TheOFam hands Big G off to CB650.
5/8 Sun - Godzilla
climbs 14,110' Pikes Peak, likes what he sees off into the distant eastern Great Plains and heads for Oakley, KS with Rxman, 78 K550, CB650 and Lynn to meet up with Eydugstr aka Doug,
kck3, and pinhead ~223 miles via CO94 and US40
5/8 Sun - Overnight in Oakley, KS at the Annie Oakley Motel. Godzilla buys the beer and we drink 'em.
5/9 Mon - Oakley to Topeka ~326 miles via US83 to US24. 78 K550 Paul heads back to Denver but the KS crew and Rxman press on. CB650 and Lynn ride along to the first fuel stop then head back to the motel
5/10 Tue - Godzilla, the man of the day, wants to find out about his magazine spread so he has a meeting with Motorcycle Classics magazine's editor-in-chief Richard Backus along with Rxman, CB650, jamesb, Don R, Bud, and Pinhead. Once he's satisfied that he is the new now famous SOHC4 cover boy he reluctantly bids Team Rockies farewell as Rxman heads back to the mountains and Godzilla hitches a ride with Team Central's Don R, Bud, and Pinhead. Eydugstr meets up along the way. KC, look out, here comes Godzilla! Don R and Bud ride off into the sunset with Godzilla.
This reluctantly concludes Team Central Rockies times and adventures with our good friend Big G.
