Hello, my name is Dave Camfield and I just bought a 1973 Honda CB 500 Four K2. My intentions are to build a custom one off cafe racer. I had a 1976 Honda CB 550 Four last year but had to sell it because of finances. This one is here to stay and I have already started in on it. I found this gem with 2,700 miles from the original owner and only paid $400. Lots of rust and lots of work ahead. I just wanted to introduce myself and hope that you all can help with my build. Started gutting the bike. Removed Tank, rust has eaten a hole in the tank so it is useless. Removed side covers, mirrors, battery, breather, air filter, rear fender, taillight, taillight has been broken, rear signals, front signals, Nerdy Hillbilly Bars for highway cruising.

Made some progress here in the last couple days.

Took off lowering links and remounted shocks
Removed Horn
Removed Front Fender for cutting and painting
Removed Master Cylinder and Front Brake System for rebuild
Removed the Electrics for relocating under the seat
Ordered Master Cylinder rebuild kit
Ordered New Ignition Switch
