rubber plug?????

I have to know what is the value of the rubber plug that goes in the lower hole under the gasket for the cover for the shifter.  Oil comes out that hole when the cover is off.   It appears the passage is the lube port for the trans shaft bearing.         CB750k8
These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.

The hole was probably an essential part of forming and drilling the casting, the pulg just plugs the redundant hole

The point I make is the rubber plug which has the Alternator cable from the Alternator to the harness has a passage from the front cover to the shift cover compartment.
IF the rubber plug in the bulkhead (faces left To Right) where the loom goes through is not properly covered in adhesive sealant,  the oil from the Alternator Rotor Stator  cover will penetrate and eventually make a oil slick on the ground beneath the Gear Change cover. Misleading, but true.
