Ha ha, well I like to think of it more of a motorcycle "sweat shop" where I trick poor American refugees into building bikes for me for free, but I guess the benefit for Adam is that once he's finished building it, he's got a cool bike to ride for the duration of his stay.
Adam, I'm busy this weekend and I'm away all next week working at two military bases in the country, but if you like I'll drop off a ute load of parts for you to play with next weekend? The only K6 engine I've got is the one in my "Rainbow Warrior" K1, but I wanted to pull it out and rebuild it anyway, so I'll return it to a good stock engine for you, ready to drop into your rolling chassis. (I need the hot rod parts for my next engine)
You're welcome to build any style of bike you want to, the only stipulation is that my bikes are "Hacksaw and Grinder Free Zones", i.e., you can't cut anything off them, the frame is an excellent stock K6 frame that I had blasted and powdercoated in gloss black and it looks better than new, so it needs nothing apart from having the new bearings that I'll supply fitted, and everything bolted back into it.
I hope this doesn't dampen your enthusiasm mate, as I said you can pretty much do whatever else you like with it, so you can still let your creative juices flow, I'm sure that whatever you end up with will be pretty cool. Good luck with the job hunting! Cheers, Terry.
