Elderly drivers...so much fail
« on: January 18, 2016, 09:53:12 AM »
There is so much fail here I don't where to start. Both the old man and the biker.  :(

Maybe if he'd taken off his helmet the old guy could have heard him better.
Or maybe it wouldn't have made a difference. ::)

I also like the way he rides through the oil multiple times then ends with the wheelie.

Old fellow probably has medical condition, thus, the confusion. Seen it before. It's sad, and obvious.

Too bad for the old man, but I'm really annoyed at the rider and the wheelies down city streets.  And he has the nerve to call the old man crazy? :(

Is that video just some random stream of consciousness from the biker or something? ???

I mean the guy in the car is out of it clearly, but so is the guy on the Yama.

The kid seems like a pretty good guy to me. Tried multiple times to advise the man to stop driving. Many (even some here) would not.

Are you guys seriously dogging somebody for doing some wheelies?

Doesn't talk like you or listen to the right music so he's a "wi@@er?"

So I suppose a wheelie and some music that your parents didn't like is the worst thing you've ever done?

Such a sensitive and hypocritical world these days, dear bikers.

Hypocritical..?  Whats hypocritical about pointing out the fact that he's a tool for doing wheelies in traffic... ::)  The car park is fine, in traffic is #$%*ing stupid....

The trouble is - this dude's doing his stunts in traffic - that pisses people off - and then they aim at me while I'm trying to follow the rules of the road.  What he's doing looks like great fun, but it also accentuates us as targets.

And yeah - old guy needs to not drive anymore.  He'll end up through the front of a Starbucks.

Hey easy there, i am entering oldman apprenticeship right now..

Although i was a master of lighting up rear tires, holeshots and the odd wheely, it generally does nothing for our image and acceptance by the general public....... Can you understand that a little bit..

You are right ..the only time we hear talk like that way up here, its black folks, or maybe a wigger.. We are north of you ,but we call it the south..

I used to think/act differently about it,but now riding like that is expensive..here they take your bike on the spot..not to mention it has not helped insurance rates at all.  I know thus because I started riding in72.
, so yeah I found out  all that cool fun stuff got some of us killed, maimed.... And  cost us lots of money
I ..feel it every day..my legs and joints will never heal, and cause many problems..

Take it for what its worth , but I feel we have some responsibilty to at least warn the younger riders what lies ahead.

Here is a shot of what playing around can get you..the accident was in 82, this is last year..
No fun now..major infections several times a year..
Full year in a cast.. Then started all over on it a year later to try to get it a bit better.. At least I dont need a cane every day.
The bad part was..   I was not the guy on the bike performing,, someone else was, they effed up and hit me and my buddy..
