Add a few more to the count - Since my last post in this thread, I've rescued 3 more -

75 CB750
73CB750
SL350

Also have a 75 CB750 that I'm working on now.   Seems like I can find the 1975 models... this one makes the 4th 75 I've had.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

I don't think I've added mine to this list either. 1974 Honda CB750 that was a dust collector in a garage for 20+ years, now running and attending at least one local ride/event/show every week. 4500 miles in 3 months. It's most definitely "back"!

A list of bikes brought back from the dead? How did I miss this? Can I not type a list of all the machines built since Hurricane Irene? Can I just put in a number? I did a count yesterday, I have made it a point to not do a real count until now.
Sixteen.
No pics, never happened, I know... It's just easier this way.

Plus 2-81- 650's, 1 500,1-70- 175, 2 550 engines  and, 1 500 engine more in the garage to go.

OH No, it seems that I found this thread earlier (june 2013)when I had 12 done, sorry, please put me down for only 4 more.

Thought  this thread sounded familiar.

You can add the brown 73 since it sat for 28 years and has been getting ridden about every two weeks since July. Is that anything?

I hope to add the 71 to the list soon. It sat for 34 years and is getting very close to enjoying the road again. ;)

What is back to life? How about "Woken from hibernation?"

1 cb650 that was stored indoors from '83 to '00
1 cb750 that just needed carb work, tires, seat
1 kz 750b that needed carb work to run, still needs a few more things done
1 zx600c that needed a new lower engine case, ignitor box, plus  a number of other goodies including plastics to bring it back to new new condition.

to revive…

1 cb500 that needs carb work and tires
1 "parts" cb750 that may end up a rat-cafe if I can unstick the motor
1 Santee framed cb750 chopper that turned out to be in worse shape than I thought. I want to get back on that project in the spring, after the 500.

All the above need batteries too.

My other two bikes are already runners, one is a Milwaukee product and the other is an East Troy, WI product.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

Old ones. I think they're Yokohama in front and a Carlisle in the rear. They look OK but I should change them.

Eric

Which of these were brought back from dead?  Its a relative term but this is what i mean.

Started with this, I call dead, no headlight wrong seat doesnt run missing tons and bound to rot into oblivion.

Back on the street, Brought back to life. New wheels, electrical, headlight, shocks, filters, points, seat, blinkers ect.

Then give it the miracle drug and really has some life.

So my question is how many of your bikes were brought back from the dead. Not just general maintenance to get it back on the road.

We are at 321
