cb350f/cb400f clutch and throttle cables
« on: April 15, 2011, 12:43:31 PM »
I just read something and the lightbulb above me lit up! Please tell me this would work... I have put drag bars on my cb350f and have the extra slack in the clutch and throttle cables to accompany that. I do know now that the 400 had shorter bars than the 350. Would getting replacement cables for the 400 fit my 350 better now? I have looked and looked everywhere to find shorter cables or even custom cables for the 350 and had no luck. Would this be my answer though? My cables are working just okay right now and I wanted to replace them with new ones anyways. Thanks for any input!

Enjoy your weekend!

Just make sure you get cables for the 75-76, they are about 5" shorter than the 77 cables....Larry

I know its been a while, but how did this end up working out for ya?

I'm looking for slightly shorter cables (-5") for my CB350F, and I'm hoping that this could work.  Custom length cables are expensive  :-\

The 400 clutch actuator works very differently from the 350 and I don't think the cable is compatible.
