Hey Mark, great work on the CL450. Very sharp. I like it ;) I remember seeing this bike on CL months ago in Liberty just right down the road from me. Had thought about going to look at it but never did.

Your going to be busy for awhile on the 67, but all the hard work will be worth it. Good luck and have fun.

Mark,  I recently sold a truck load of 450 frames, motors, etc.  I still have the buyers contact info if you are interested. However, most of the parts were K2 onward...Larry

Thanks Dhall & Larry.

Yes, please, sent the contact information as I am sure I will be adapting parts due to availability problems on the K0.

What happened with those nitrogen piggy back Asia shocks? Did you use them in the end and if so how were they?
I got a set on Ebay for my CB750 Cafe project and your right about the clevis, but I drilled it out and put a sleeve in there. It seems to fit fine, not my first choice in installation as there is now very little rubber in the Clevis...but it does fit the 750.
Sometimes...the hard thing and the right thing are the same thing!

Mark,   that should be the email for Mike (sorry forgot his last name) that bought all the 450 parts I had.  He has at least 5 motors, 4 frames and enough parts to make 3 complete bikes.  I had restored 3 450s  and all the stuff was left over-I had titles for 3 of the frames but lost them and subsequently lost all interest in restoring the bikes so I sold the entire lot for the whopping sum of $800.  good luck with the latest project...Larry

Here is my paycheck for doing the CL 450

What species of snake is that?

I think he posted in the wrong thread, I just let it go.

Off to see the grand kid this weekend, we are proud he can now say Chimmichonga (sp?)!  You going to Gold Mine?

Yeah, going early to beat the heat.  Might take the Bonnie to Gold Hill, but probably be the Tiger.
