Bar clamp/ dash board ID
« on: April 16, 2011, 10:41:41 am »
I've been reworking some bar clamps and was hoping someone could help ID what models/years used the bottom clamp in the pic below. If they were used on the early bikes, anyone have an idea when they changed to the style shown on the top clamp?

If you have this on your bike, what year/model is it?

Thanks!

My 75 550 uses the bottom clamp, if that helps.

Thanks for all of the replies. I'm not seeing a real pattern here.  My '74 550 had the top clamp, so it almost seems that the bottom clamp came later (assuming all of these clamps are original to each bike, of course), though I'm not ready to draw any conclusions, yet; at least it gives me a couple of models to consider.
