New kid from SoCal
« on: April 07, 2011, 08:34:15 AM »
Heya, so where to start. I'm 25 and between LA and Fresno. I got my first bike a couple years ago, a '75 CB750F from my father-in-law. Moderate condition given the mechanic of choice. I ran across this site while looking for maintenance tips. No pictures of the temperamental little thing yet. Aiming for a custom/street race kinda build, I'm not trendy enough for a cafe  ;D but i still want to give the crotchers a good run.  Just thought I'd say hi and let you know there is another lurker in your midst.

Thanks, I'm in Bakersfield. From the members map, it looks a little lonely in our neck of the woods.

Hey guys, welcome to the fun! I grew up in Santa Maria, and lived near Victorville for over 10 years. I often went to Bakersfield for work, and passed through Lancaster many times, either for work related travel, or visits home.
Have you guys heard about the relay? It is scheduled to be in Rosamond late afternoon 4-25, then move on to SLO the next day.
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

Welcome aboard. Everything you need is on this site. I'm just a bit north of you, Norcal right off the 99.

I heard about the relay but have a prior commitment. Would have been cool to meet up with some folks over at WSIR.
