77 550 f/550 k seats

Does anyone know off the top of there heads if a 77 cb 550 k seat will fit a 550 F?

It will fit but I believe the K is shorter and would leave a 3" gap between the tank and seat.

The F fuel tank is longer at the rear and thus the F seat is shorter. A K seat on an F bike will conflict with the rear of the tank, scratching the paint and bending the seat pan.

I've put a K seat on my F model and it has a F tank, but there was a gap.
