Well today voxonda was at the demo races in the mids of Holland and we had a great event although it came to a adrupt halt when a fellow rider covered the track with oil. Most riders did not want to ride anymore so that was the end of it.
But.....................the voxonda replica won the 750cc class and according to spectators should also be given a price for the best sounding bike of the event!!! Makes me a happy man. There where a 1047 six, a 1100DOHC Bol d'or engined race bike etc, but we were the fastest out there! ROCK ON, SOHC!!

Hey RR, let me put it this way.

My marriage, birth of our two boys are the #1 on my list. But this feels like a close #2.
It really has been a fulfilling of a boyhood dream, having my 'hero' riding a bike that I build up from scratch.
We've become close friends. What more is there in life?

Thnx. Rob

After the last testrun, started to prep the bike for the 3 hour. Since the bike was running rich I decided to put in some other mains. Have some extra needle jet holders so can switch the mains holder included. I noticed a differ between the two sets I have. Maybe the carb experts can explain what this difference should/could bring.

Probably 1 set is for K7 the other for F2 carb's.

Given the emulsion tubes work like on a Weber, then the different hole size(s), & placement will effect fuel mixture.  The upper holes effect idle/low speed then transition, bottom holes top end.  As the fuel level drops in the bowl more holes are uncovered, creating more 'push' & fuel emulsification, as more fuel is required by the engine.  My .02 anyway.

Proud man to see my bike on the #1 spot

10 minutes before the flag there was a major crash involving a Honda six, race redflagged.
Happily to say the guy is lucky to escape with a broken collarbone and a concussion.

Cheers, Rob

Let's see, did they enjoy themselves:

Totally 'backed' a new BT45

Though raising the bike and stiffening the suspension, still managed to scrape the alternator cover.

Here they are at the starting grid, Jan with the bike and Tonnie waving at the audience shouting his name, he is a legend in Oss.
Need I say more? ;D

Ok, another one. With this I need your help:

Tonnie hard charging to stay ahaed of the 1000cc Laverda of the Gijs van Dijk Team which won the demo (race).
Need to put more speed in the bike for the coming edition.
