torque amount 550K clutch spring bolts

can not find any info on the procedure for tightening clutch spring bolts.
manual just says install spring bolts and then the clutch cover.
on my Yamaha's there is a torque setting, do Honda's not have one?

I want to say 8 or 10 ft lbs... it's low, I remember that. Had to use my inch lbs wrench, and I want to say it was something like 96 inch lbs.

Finger tight then half a turn maybe if you don't have a wrench that will go low enough.

Also, I believe there is a section in the manual that has generic torque values for each size bolt for use when a torque value isn't specified.

I've stripped a set, how I know. I'd get them finger tight then do 1/2 to 3/4 turn, that should be close. Don't go bearing down on it, they'll strip in a heartbeat.

i guess i should have said i did it that way in the begining. but then the clutch wouldn't work.
i had to screw them in farther for the cover to fit and cltuch to work properly. i guess my question is, how far should they be screwed in? rather what the torque setting is.
and i tighten one a little further and another becomes loose. obiviously they need to be even.
