CB400F Spring Help
« on: April 18, 2011, 05:18:34 PM »
I can't get the brake pedal spring on for the life of me!!  Can someone post a good pic of where the spring goes and then a decent explanation of how the hell they got the thing on? I checked the forum, but the posts didn't help. Thanks in advance.

Here's a pic from my '77. I hope it helps!
Let me know if a better pic from another angle would help.

I had mine on that way once already, but it seemed all cockeyed so I took it back off. I guess it was on right all along. Thanks for the pic. They really can be worth a thousand words.

Sometimes the spring moves between the arm and frame when you go to mount the pedal. I found you need to push the arm flush to the frame when installing the pedal...Larry
