I have a CB750 K1, Just replaced the ignition and coils with Dyna S. Bought a set of NGK D8's, now I'm wondering if I need a certain type of restrictor  plug cap or special wires. I haven't found much info on the subject. Any help would be awesome! Also taking suggestions on a new small battery. Not running much with it, just the starter( possibly) ,head and tail light. No accessories

You use solid copper core wire and the standard plug caps which are 5k ohm resistance.

Thanks,
I already have a new set of plug caps from Honda OEM. I guess I'll go to the auto store and grab some 7mm wires.

IME, your standard chain auto parts store is not a good place to go for basic, copper core spark plug wire.  They usually only have graphite core suppression wire that's already cut to length for specific cars.  A bike shop is more likely to have copper core wire by the foot.

Ya! You're not joking. Searched auto parts stores and a fewbike shops with zero luck. I really wanted to get this done without having to wait on mail. Only a couple other places I can even think of locally. Most of the people i talk to have no clue what I'm even talkingabout

Most AutoZone clerks will look at you like a dog that's just been shown a card trick if you tell them you're looking for something for a 40 year old motorcycle.  They're not usually much more help if you're getting parts for a car.

If you order from Z1 tonight, there's a good chance you will have it by Friday or Saturday.  They ship priority mail, and usually the same day you order if you place it early enough in the day.

If you don't want to wait until then, there has to be some place in your area that has it.  Some place like Tractor Supply Company, or a shop that works on old air-cooled VW's, or a lawnmower repair shop should have some.
