NEGA Mountian Rides Starting Again!!
« on: April 20, 2011, 10:51:11 AM »
I thought I would get this out as early as I could.  Just like last year, Fabricator and myself are going to try to do a montly ride through they beatiful NEGA mountians.  We got some really good turn outs for our rides last year, and I thought we would try this again this year.  I'm hoping to start them next month, I'm just looking for dates that are good for everyone else (my on call dates are May 27-29).  As always all bikes are welcome, also we arn't looking to set land speed records just looking to have a safe fun ride.  And of course there will some light socializing and food after the ride.  With all that said lets start a roll call of might be coming, lets have a great first ride of the year!!!!

I MIGHT be up for a ride this weekend.  Gotta see how this week goes.  I'm still not sure how many side jobs I have going Saturday, plus I still have my on call status to deal with this weekend.  I"ll let everyone know something by the end of the week.

Hey Vern and Travis................

Let me throw a big old curve ball into this.

I was reminded this morning by a co-worker that we have been invited to participate in "the 6th annual Ride to Survive" benefiting the Piedmont rape crisis center.  The ride starts at the Winder Moose lodge at 434 HWY 211, Winder GA 30680.  It will be a 70 mile ride escorted by the Barrow County Sherrifs department and lunch will be provided.

Registration is at 8:30 am.  The ride starts at 10:00 am.  The fee is a $20.00 donation per rider.  There will be door prizes...live band...etc.  Probably a bunch of Harley's.  I do think it would be cool to have a few SOHC4's in the mix.

The Moose Lodge is about 6 miles from my house.

Sorry to be so last minuet with this.  I totally forgot about it.

Let me know your thoughts
