Will I have any issues with changing my lowers?
I have a set of 78 CB750K forks.....and a set of 74CB550 forks.
My problem is that the brake caliper is not lining up correctly as the brake disk it too high or my 78 lowers mounts are a bit too low.
I had the CB550 forks (in need of rebuild) on the bike with the brakes working fine, but changed them to CB750's (newly rebuilt) to lower the bike (which looks great) but then I have the no brake issue up front.
Ive tried to find the right kind of brake mount to solve my issue but have not had any luck....so i thought that if I just changed my lowers- problem solved.....but I want to make sure as most of the guys on this site are great and have a wealth of knowledge I seem to lack!
So with that said...any issues I would come accross with the lower change only?
Or if you guys know what the hell brake I sould look for as well that might help....
