Here's a tribute to our Relay Rally heroes. Any rider that completed between 500 and 999 miles with or without Godzilla deserves to be listed here!

PLEASE just your name, your city, your bike, and your total miles ridden, total miles ridden with Godzilla IF you carried Godzilla and the approximate route and the dates.   ;D
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

I did 539 miles in one day.

But I don't want on the official list because it wasn't all on the bike.  265 miles trailering the bike out to Lordsburg, NM.  274 miles on the bike to get on home to Tempe, AZ.  I'm whooped.

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Dropping in to write down mileage for both legs of the Relay.

1982 CB650

Aug 6-7, 11: met up with Lincoln Nebraska riders on way to Okoboji, IA,  picking Godzilla up, coming down from Minnesota.  234 Miles with Godzilla, 468 round trip.

Aug 13th: Again, met up with Lincoln NE crew on way to Sioux City, IA to hand IT off to South Dakota.
142 miles with GZ, 284 round trip.

Not sure how you all figure the mileage club stuff...
Totals: 752 milesGodZilla miles: 376.

Good times!

Wyatt Bordewyk, Sioux Falls, SD.  I rode my 1976 CB750K 560 miles;  280 of which were with Godzilla!

I toured down I-29 (occasionally taking the more scenic county highways) to Sioux City, IA.  I then brought IT back to Sioux Falls, SD and finished up with a trip down I-29 to the North Dakota/South Dakota border to drop IT off.

1978 CB750K (with a dyna-s and no hiccups!) ;)

503 miles all in 1 day, 218 with Godzilla. I will have to figure out my mileage but I am pretty sure I averaged over 40 mpg and that is with having to fill with ethanol twice.

Left at 9am. Rode down to dakota magic casino on the sd/nd border. I left with a friend, though he was on a yamaha Virago, hey it is still japanese! He stayed with me till we got back up to fargo.
Met up with Bord0080(Wyatt) at just before 11am. Excellent guy! We made the hand off and got pics and such. Rode back up through wahpeton, up a ways on highway 75, yes a bit in Mn! Hey interstate travel is boring! Stopped in Climax MN, hey you would too. :D Thought about Cummings but I figured Climax was enough! Skirted fargo, up thorugh Grand forks, grafton, and ended in Pembina at close to 5pm. Wouldn't have taken that long but with the stop in climax and road contruction... :P  Current mileage was over 316 at this time.
Met with john(jneuf) from manitoba on his 78 550 (another excellent guy). Signed the banner and made brain addled log entries! Really, I CAN spell better! ;D
Changed ownership of Godzilla, got pictures of the banner and handoff again. Wished john and 'Zilla safety and luck and sent them on their way.
Wish I had more time to add to the log book and to read it! Next time, I will work things so I can do that. I hope that when the relay is finished, that someone can scan the pages and post them for us all to read.
Rode home and got back just after 9, with 503 miles!

I was honored to take part in this and I hope that we can do it again sometime. Next time though, I would like to meet more of you guys on the relay.

For you future riders, take care and stay safe on your run.
