voodoo for time stuck pistons
« on: April 21, 2011, 10:12:42 PM »
A buddy bought an old honda single and it's stuck good. Gearbox is fine... overall not so bad, but think it was put away with a valve hanging open, and the air just got to it.
I've been pretty lucky myself with basic things like Marvel mystery oil or diesel fuel.. but I think this one's a little further on than anything I've ever bought.
What kinds of things would you fill that chamber with in the hopes of unstucking?

(personally, I think this thing will be an awesome artificial reef someday.)

No problem. Other pointers will come, like rock it back and forth after soaking in a higher gear, just tear it down cause it is rusty and junk, some will say it is good and others will say its trashed.Makes for good debate and info, may get moved to other bikes so you may want to specify the model.

think it's like a 75 or 76 trail 90.
hardly any miles, mostly complete.. a few boneheaded fixes, but nothing too heavy.

I was always told to use break fluid.
