Okay, so I have a small issue. I have a 1975 Honda CB550. My headlight will not turn on. The other day I was trying to fix my headlight and trace the wires. I can't figure out which wire is the "hot" wire. Which wire give the headlight power? The green is the ground wire, correct? White would be low beam and blue is the high beam. The White wire and the blue wire should be "hot" or giving the headlight power. When I turn the headlight on, my taillight turns on but now power to the headlight. High beam or low beam. What could be the issue? I've checked the grounds, I've check to make sure all the wires are connected properly. I just am not getting power to the light. My headlight is not burnt out because I connected it directly to the batter and it lights up just fine. Also, my headlight worked just fine a couple days ago. I had a loose wire, fixed it for a day by reconnecting the wire. But now again no headlight. I went back in and made sure everything was connected but still no headlight. Anyone have any suggestions?
