hey guys any way to trace vin numbers to the original sale at dealerships ? just think it would be kinda cool to know

I have some bikes that still have the old foil dealership stickers attached from where they were originally sold. They used to like to put them on the top of the tail light or the rear fender.One 750 I got has like a brass badge mounted on with the dealerships name.Kinda cool to see how far or close they were sold.
