Anyone familiar with these? They look akin to the Savior frames. I have a nice price for this one.

What is the fuzz about this frame? I can't seem to find a lot of information on the internet. What would I need to adjust, if anything?

It's cool, and hopelessly impractical..................in other words, gorgeous!

I don't know if it's your "flavor", but I like all kinds, and have a special softspot for 1970's era "Choppers". The Honda SOHC motor has just the right complexity and width to go really well with these types of frames IMO.

 Search Jammer Honda 750 frame, looks like that one.
 There was another similasr to that but had a gooseneck, sold as a Machine Shop frame, and later as a Santee.
 One of the frames  back then, was called an Easy Tail.
 I found some part a while back from another type, it had about 8 or 10 inch arm with an axle slot and pivot on the other end..that mounted on the frame and there was a housing to mount a spring above it.
 A bit hard to explain.. I would sell those bits..

There's not a real market here for the hippie chopper thing. I found a stash of a lot of old stuff, forward controls, santee air box, electric box and oil tank. So I'm looking to hang it all in a frame, because selling won't get me anywhere.

I ran into this frame also, which I like better than the Zodiac one. I wonder if anyone can identify this frame and tell me somthing about it? Loving the look.

Spoke to the seller, and bought the hardtail frame for 75 euro's. He said he purchased the chop, as it was built around a Benelli 750 engine which he is restoring. So he has no use for the frame.

He sent me a picture of the chopper as he bought it, I attached it below.

To me, the neck is not right for any santee, gme or jammer velvet ride on that plunger frame. The angled tubes are reminiscent of a santee frame however. There were a number of companies that have made plunger kits that you could weld on to a hard tail frame. Here's one that is still currently manufactured:

The other frame looks more like a modified stock frame. It almost looks like a stock swingarm cut & made into a hard tail.

For a more knowledgeable answer, go over to hondachopper.com & post this in the Q&A section. Some of those guys have been around honda choppers since the 70's & have seen a lot of different chopper frames. You won't be able to post the pictures there, just post a link to the pics at an online photo site like photobucket.

 He did call the frame a Zodiac.. Now there was an aftermarket company from Taiwan back in the 80s that churned out lots of chopper parts.. sold thru  like Drag Specialties, maybe CCI and others.. they used I believe the Zodiac name, as well as ZEL.

 Lots of copying going on of frame ideas, as far as I know Amen was the only one that had the axle centered in the plunger, back in the day..
