Thought I had more of this one.

I'm also going to buy from airtech, but where did you find the clear wind shield?

Windscreens for Airtech's fairings can be purchased from Gustafssons Fairing Screen (www.bikescreen.com), available in many different colors.

I know this thread is basically 2 years old but more info never hurts. It isn't that important for the fairing to be super narrow in the front. I run an XRTT full fairing on my XR 1327. It's the same fairing Cal Rayburn did extensive wind tunnel testing at Caltech and found that the bigger fairing outperformed the narrower ones and that how you closed the hole behind you was more important. This the same fairing my friend Charlie Perethian used on his used stock NX250 last year to win the Vetter Challenge where he got 157mpg

Mine is huge, and I get the chicks! ;D

Hey where'd the PO go, I've been waiting to see that electric bike since he started the thread in 2011, surely he's finished it by now?  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

held on by 4 bolts, I can take it off in 2 minutes, Its very well put together even if it is heavy. That cage is steel. I am going to weigh the bike today with the fairing on it. I will post when I do.

here's my F2.  Rode this old girl 2 up from Des Moines to Devils tower earlier this summer.  Bike didn't complain a bit, nice and broken in now from last winter's top end overhaul.  Crossing the Missouri in SD here.

I really like the look of the Vesco Rabid Transit- a member here has a nice F2 or 3 with that setup.  The windjammer is effective though.  The miles were smiles on this trip.

Bart, that's a nice fairing and good quality paint job from
appearances in the pic. Congrats on the debt reduction/elimination.
I think I like the QuickSilver better on some bikes more than the WindJammers; just not a fan of the WindJammers.
Really like the Vesco Rabid Transit.

thanks. A very reputable guy here in town did it. he does resto's on a lot of Brit bikes , ducati's . When I asked him if he coul;d paint a fairing to match. he claimed it was a challenge , as we know that orange flake is not easy to reproduce. He did a good job, except the flake is a bit larger, but the color is right on. When I brought him the fairing he almost sh*t himself because of how big it was. he never painted anything this large for a Motorcycle. 2 weeks after he painted it, it started to get  a couple of bleached out spots. Sigh. not really bad but still, it should  not have happened. He said he would fix it eventually. I dont care, the tank has a sunfade on it anyway. It's not perfect but good enough for me.

Interesting. I had my Rickman On ebay a couple of times , didnt get any bids over 225. I know its worth more than that.

Just because you scout ebay doesn't mean you will be buying. Seen a few Vesco Rabid/Rapid Transits that could have went for $400. But, they ended with no bids. Shipping is a killer.
I would say your Rickman is worth $400 if not more. $225 clearly isn't enough.

I understand people wanting a great price but it is difficult to cheap out on a seller and not give them a fair price.
The BMW variants of the Rabid Transit go for $1000 commonly I am told.
