CB350F Swing arm pivot bolt
« on: April 24, 2011, 06:31:32 PM »
I've decided to fab up some rear sets using the current peg mounts (bottom rear motor mount) and swing arm pivot bolt as my anchor points on each side. In order to fit the 1/4" plate and still clear the frame I need to use spacers. That, plus the 1/4" plate for the bracket, plus the nut won't fit on the pivot bolt.

I'm wondering if any other larger sohc 4s have the same diameter bolt that might be wider to accommodate a wider frame/ motor. This would give me all the thread I need to mount a bracket and spacers.

If not I'll have to have one machined I guess.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I haven't compared but CB400F rear set will on CB350F I believe. Then you can get some measurement off it?

Thanks for the response, yo. I'm not really interested in using the 400f rear sets, I'm looking to fabricate my own. I guess my original post was a long winded way of asking if any larger displacement sohc4 Hondas have a longer swingarm pivot bolt than a 350f, but the same diameter so it fits through the frame and swingarm.
