Gentlemen,
I was given 1970 CB750 and finally found this forum. You can see the bike was modified a bit, the rear wheel is 16", the light is different and few other things. The plan is to get it running, ride it this summer and do some kind of a frame up in winter.
I am not purist, it will not be a 1970 in every aspect when I am done. The top bracket of the triple tree was cracked and I already replaced it with one from 74. I like vehicles running and dependable, but respect those who made the effort to be time period specific to the last bolt.
OK, the important part out of the way:) - my name is Prokop, I am from Prague, Czech Republic, but we live in USA for 14 years and in VA for 9. I am used to wrenching, my daily driver is 86CJ7, I also worked almost a year in a custom Corvette shop and I had motorcycles before - overseas. My first bike was CZ250, after I got married we bought CBX750 Honda and sold it before moving to States.
But the vehicle I got the most detailed technical education on is T-54/55M, russian tank
